Below you can see a description of the current snow cover information and current weather forecast in the mountains. If your observations deviate greatly from what is described here, the warning will not necessarily apply either. Always make your own judgments or stay away from avalanche terrain.

Snow cover (in Norwegian)

Wednesday 30. March 2022

Snødekket er vindpakket myk i vindutsatte områder under tregrensa. Over tregrensa er snøen vindpåvirket i SV/S/SØ.

Mountain weather

Wednesday 30. March 2022

6 mm precipitation, up to 20 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as snow. Strong breeze from north, changing to fresh breeze from the northeast during renoon. -10 °C to -1 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Thursday 31. March 2022

3-6 mm precipitation. Precipitation as snow. Breeze from northeast, changing to breeze from the north during the afternoon. -11 °C to -1 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Advice

The bulletin is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. To be 100 % avalanche safe, avoid all avalanche terrain.

Avalanche risk assessment
